Hi and welcome to WTGMom.com! My name is Sockie and I am thrilled you're here.
I am an Executive Assistant to the CEO of a publishing and events management company based in Washington. My husband Kris also joined the same company a little over a year after. We are both work from home parents and consider ourselves extremely lucky to be physically present each time our baby needs us and witness any and all the precious milestone moments. Seriously, hashtag blessed.
I am starting this blog as a personal outlet and photo diary for all the countless snapshots, musings and stories I kept over the years. As I am sure most first time moms can relate: the first couple of years of rearing, breastfeeding and just plain winging this motherhood thing all goes by in a blur. I am excited that after several expired domains year after year after year, 2019 is finally a good time to start chronicling my time as a mom. I can't believe I am actually getting this whole blogging thing moved from my To Do list to my In Progress list. As in all things, every tiny baby step counts. So note to self, way to go mom!
