| Mother Dear † |
She has been retired since early 90's but ever since I can remember, she was never one to stay put at home. Up to the last few weeks leading to her demise, she can be in 2-3 postal codes in a day. She had always been a woman of action. So instead of the weak moments, I'd like to remember her in those days, when she thrived in being a busybody.
It's been 12 months and 24 days since the last time we talked and there are still so much I'd like to learn, to share and to experience with her. I still count the days sometimes and each time, I get reminded how life can be so fleeting. Each time, I hug my little one a little tighter.
Ultimately, this really is a celebration post. An homage to the mother that taught me a lot of things, intentional or not. Her memory may have been the push I needed to even get this blog started. Thank you Ma! I hope to always be the kind of mother you want Charlie to have.
